This book predicts the decline of today's professions and introduces the people and systems that will replace them. Abstract

Jarenlang konden werknemers in de privésector hun arbeidsprestaties tijdelijk stopzetten of verminderen in het kader van het zogenaamde tijdskrediet en loopbaanvermindering. De werknemer hoefde daarvoor geen bijzondere reden op te geven. Zorg voor jonge kinderen, maar ook me-time, herbronning, een wereldreis maken, behoorden tot de mogelijkheden. Opeenvolgende besparingsmaatregelen hebben geleid tot belangrijke wijzigingen aan de reglementering. Voortaan bestaan enkel nog het tijdskrediet en de loopbaanvermindering met motief (opleiding, zorg voor een eigen kind tot de leeftijd van 8 jaar, zorg voor een zwaar ziek gezins- of familielid, palliatieve zorgen voor een naaste), en de landingsbaan voor oudere werknemers. De voorwaarden om van een recht op tijdskrediet of loopbaanvermindering te kunnen genieten werden bovendien verstrengd. Dit boek geeft een gedetailleerd overzicht van de verschillende mogelijkheden inzake tijdskrediet en loopbaanvermindering, zoals werknemers die vandaag kunnen genieten.
